Sweat Control

Excessive Sweating, or hyperhidrosis, is more than just a cosmetic issue—it can affect your quality of life and daily comfort. Whether you’re dealing with underarm sweat, sweaty palms, or facial sweating, the constant moisture and discomfort can impact social, professional and physical activities. But today’s anti-sweating treatments have the solution. At our clinic we offer personalised treatment plans to reduce sweat production and get you back to being you.

What is Sweat and Hyperhidrosis

Sweating is controlled by your nervous system but in cases of primary hyperhidrosis your overactive sweat glands produce sweat without heat or physical exertion. Secondary hyperhidrosis is triggered by underlying medical conditions or medications. Understanding the type and cause of your sweating is key to creating a treatment plan.

Causes of Excessive Sweating

  • Genetics
  • Hormonal changes
  • Neurological or neuromuscular conditions
  • Physical exertion or stress
  • Side effects of oral medications
  • Overstimulation of acetylcholine to nerve receptors in the sweat gland signals

Anti-Wrinkle Injections for Sweat Reduction

One game changing treatment for hyperhidrosis is botulinum toxin injections
(also known as Botox). These anti-sweating injections work by blocking
chemical signals, specifically acetylcholine to nerve receptors,
which stimulate sweat glands.

Also called anti-wrinkle injections treatment, this injectable treatment
is a safe and non-invasive procedure for managing
axillary hyperhidrosis, palmar sweating, and more.
It’s a popular option in cosmetic clinics because of
minimal downtime and great sweat control.

By treating the sweat glands in the underarms, patients will see a
significant decrease in sweat production for up to 8 months.
This is a temporary solution for excessive sweating and can be
repeated or “topped up” to maintain the results.
This treatment is suitable for both, males and females.

How It Works:

  • Botulinum toxin blocks nerve signals from reaching overactive sweat glands
  • It prevents the release of acetylcholine, the chemical that triggers sweat production
  • Injections are made in a grid pattern for even distribution
  • Effective in both cosmetic procedures and medical conditions c

Benefits of Treatment

  • Minimally invasive
  • Quick treatment with no downtime
  • FDA/TGA approved for underarm sweating
  • Safe and precise
  • Results last 4 to 12 months
  • Better hygiene and reduced odour
  • Increased confidence and comfort

We consider:

  • Combination of treatments (e.g. Botox + antiperspirants)

Consultation

Your journey starts with an initial consultation or free consultation to:

  • Review medical history

  • Skin is cleaned and marked in a grid pattern
  • Botulinum toxin (anti-wrinkle) is injected into the skin
  • Uses a fine needle and may use a numbing agent for mild discomfort
  • Total treatment time: 30–45 minutes

Aftercare

  • No hot baths, saunas or intense activities for 24 hours
  • No deodorants or perfumed products for 24 hours
  • No physical exertion for a day
  • Some mild discomfort or skin irritation may occur
